Deck Building

I can’t say enough about Mike and Jon!! They did a tremendous job on our deck first of all. Watch their media for pictures coming soon. We bought our dream home in Neenah last year, and these two just did an extraordinary job matching colors and building our custom dream deck to accommodate an outdoor kitchen and hot tub. Everyone who comes over says it looks like it’s an extension of our house and enhances the backyard wilderness / oasis experience. Tru Frame far exceeded our own imaginations and with precision! They keep a clean job site the whole way through, and literally became friends of the family while working on the project. We had a tornado whip through at the tail end of the build. We were on a trip and out of town when it happened. Mike and John went ABOVE AND BEYOND making some temporary repairs on our roof to secure our home from further damage, cleared the driveway enough so we could get in, and got through to us so we could make our way back home with pictures for our insurance claim. They also recommended a fantastic tree service. They are truly one of a kind, and we have a gorgeous deck to enjoy for years to come!! — Kate & Bryan

My wife and I are absolutely thrilled with the deck Jon and Mike designed and built for us! Extremely creative, knowledgeable, and fantastic builders! Jon and Mike went above and beyond what they were hired to do, even replacing ground break where the deck was to attach to the wall and bought gravel to fill in the trench around the foundation. A very high quality build with unique design cues at a great price, and they left the job site in better shape than when they arrived. Extremely friendly, conscientious, and a fountain of great ideas! I greatly enjoyed their camaraderie and want them to come back and build us something else! Very highly recommended.

Mike and Jon did an amazing job on our small deck project. Mike provided a huge amount of knowledge to us before we even hired them, letting us make an informed choice. Their price was very competitive with the other builders we contacted. They got the job quickly (even after squeezing us in) and when they were done it was like they were never there. Clean up was handled impeccably, they even protected our new deck by working in socks rather than their muddy boots, truly above and beyond. We would hire them again without hesitation and certain would encourage others to contact them first.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! We priced multiple places, these guys were the best for quality, timing, service and end product. In addition to the great work they do they are simply all around nice guys. Would highly recommend!

I wish there were more stars! Mike and John are Simply the Best! They are professional, prompt, and amazing at what they do. Mike even spent 9 hours working on my project on his birthday. They did an excellent job of cleaning up each day and respected my property. Not only were they very nice guys they were fun too Look no further, these are the guys you want to hire!

Mike and Jon of Tru Frame just completed building a replacement deck on my home. What they have managed to build is an absolutely beautiful addition to our home. From design to completion, these guys were the consummate professionals. I must say, their attention to detail with this build was certainly both impressive and appreciated. Starting with the tear down, insertion of the "screws/pillars, then the framing and finally the deck itself, we could not be more happy with our decision to have Tru Frame build our deck. I paid attention to them building it and asked a lot of questions and their precision on EVERYTHING was so impressive!! Jon's precision finishing on the end pieces, Mikes precision with the steps, and their precision on the spacing and even the drill holes on the fascia boards, I just don't think you get that with everyone! If you are contemplating a building project I would strongly recommend Mike and Jon at Tru Frame!! Thanks guys for a great build!!

Jon and Mike recently completed a new deck for my elderly mother, and the experience couldn’t have been better. From the start, Jon communicated clearly and consistently, keeping us informed every step of the way. Despite working through last month’s Polar Vortex, both Jon and Mike were dependable, professional, and genuinely trustworthy. Jon even went the extra mile by volunteering to move the patio furniture off the old deck and placing it back once the new one was finished. Since the project took several days, they made sure to neatly clean up their tools and materials at the end of each day, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Although everything went perfectly, I’m fully confident they would have addressed any concerns promptly and thoroughly if they had arisen. I highly recommend Tru Frame to anyone looking to update an existing deck or install a brand-new one.
